Wanjiku Kariuki is the EvalVijana Co-chair who represents ESK’s Young and Emerging Evaluators (YEE’s) on the Board. She is also a member of EvalYouth TF 2 and is an M&E graduate student at Daystar University. She also serves as secretary for a national stakeholders’ Technical Work Group (TWG), that meets monthly towards the promotion of the evaluation of the Sustainable Development Goals (TWG) i.e. under the EvalSDGs (EvalVision 2016-2020). The initiative is coordinated jointly by the Kenya Monitoring and Evaluation Department (MED) and ESK. Wanjiku is also a member of the EvalPartners /EvalYouth Task Force II, whose mandate is to run a Global Mentoring Programs for YEE’s. She was notably part of the EvalYouth Task force III team that planned the recent 4th EvalYouth Virtual Conference "Building Skills & Learning Methods". On all these, she has given her time and effort on a voluntary basis, not to only strengthen her professional development, but also give her opportunities to add value to the national and global evaluation discourses.
